Highways 4/57 – Ha’Sharon Junction Upgrade

HaSharon Junction (also known as Beit Lid Junction) is an important junction in central Israel, where Highway 4 (the old Haifa-Tel Aviv road) meets Highway 57, which stretches from Netaniya to Nitzanei Oz Interchange in the direction of Highway 6.
In this project, we planned the regularization of the junction. This included adding lanes (each way), culverts, drainage tunnels, traffic lights, traffic signs and lighting. We also planned the roundabout at the Nordiya entrance and additional development works at the Beit Lid memorial site.
A special emphasis was placed on working in close proximity to Ashmoret Penitentiary.
