Jezreel Valley Regional Council – Cycling Trail Master plan

The master plan for cycling trails in the Jezreel Valley was prepared for the Israel Government Tourist Corporation, in collaboration with the Jezreel Valley Regional Council, one of the largest regional councils in Israel. The cycling trail network is roughly 30 km long, stretching from Kibbutz Ein Dor in the east to Moshav Avi and Harduf in the west. The project connects the settlements and tourist attractions under the regional council’s jurisdiction, including rivers, forests and nature preserves. Over the years, parts of the project (such as the east part of the area, along the Kishon River) were completed using resources pooled between the council, KKL-the Jewish National Fund and other public entities. The trail network also connects the different settlements and serves pedestrians and hikers.
