Route 5720 – Level Crossing in Kfar Vitkin

Located on Route 5720, near Kfar Vitkin, Level Crossing Number 23 connects Highway 2 (the coastal road) to Highway 4 (the old Tel Aviv – Haifa road).
The project includes the planning of a 105 m long bridge and supporting walls in reinforced soil, 250 m long bridge ramps on the west side, 370 m long ramps on the east side and two roundabouts on both sides. The total length of the project is roughly 800 m.
Our firm handled communication and power systems, upgraded the water system and paid special attention to landscape development. The performance stages and temporary traffic arrangements for the railway crossings were a significant engineering challenge.
