Sovev Kinneret – Planning the Access Junction to Kurasi Beach

Kursi Junction is located on the east bank of the Sea of Galilee, 3 km west of Ein Gev. The previous junction had been a severe safety hazard. The turn radii had been too short, there had been no dedicated left turn lanes, the junction had been unlit and the descent onto the access road had been too steep. For this reason, we were asked to plan a new roundabout to replace the junction on Highway 92, at the entrance to the beach, including an access road for the visitors of the beach.
